What a steering lock actually does
Two jobs — one mechanical, one psychological. The second one matters more than people expect.

It blocks the wheel
A steering lock physically stops the wheel turning through its normal range. Even if a thief gets in and defeats the ignition, they cannot steer the car off your drive.

It changes the decision
Most theft is opportunistic. A lock visible through the windscreen answers a thief’s question before they touch the door: this one takes longer, makes more noise, and might not work.

It buys time and noise
Defeating hardened steel is slow and loud. Both are things a thief cannot afford on a quiet street at 3am.

What a good lock does is push the cost of trying high enough that it stops being worth it — and make your car the one they walk past. Security works in layers, and this is a strong, visible layer.

Sit the bat on top of your steering wheel and twist until it locks. One movement.
T-BAR
Clamp and extend
Clamp over the wheel so the arm extends across your dashboard, then lock.
ALARM MONITORED
Fit, then arm
Fit as the T-Bar, then arm the alarm. Any movement of the lock sets it off.
RETRO VINTAGE
Hook and pull
Hook the shackle over the wheel and pull once. Three-direction locking engages automatically.
LOOKING AFTER IT
Protect the lock, protect the interior.
Every MyLoque has foam or anti-wear padding on the contact points so it grips without marking your wheel. If you run a thick aftermarket rim, extra padding gives a snugger fit.
